NYBR Rabbinic
Answering
Voice
Project RAV (Rabbinic Answering
Voice) is a service of the NYBR to people who call in for
answers to questions about Jewish beliefs and
practices, who need rabbinic services, who require bereavement
counseling, or simply want more information about Judaism.
Thousands of calls are received yearly with many referrals
made to appropriate religious and communal organizations and
agencies. RAV has assisted people in resolving personal
difficulties by informing them of available resources and
directing them to the appropriate agencies.
